Discovery Day in Kentucky

SAALCK is sponsoring Kentucky Discovery Day for Academic Libraries on February 18th.  The presentations will take place at the University of Louisville Eckstrom Library.  SAALCK is inviting all interested library staff in Kentucky to attend.

The "Discovery Layer" is becoming a critical factor in patron satisfaction.  Patrons don't know much about how information is packaged---they just want the answer now.  SAALCK has invited several of the Discovery Layer vendors to come to Kentucky and provide a brief demonstration of their offerings.  This will provide a quick side-by-side comparison to understand some of what is currently on the market.  Questions on the event can be sent to the SAALCK Executive Director, Anne K. Abate.
